I can’t believe
that the school buses are practicing their routes, teachers are setting
up their classrooms and students have 11-15 days and counting till
school starts. The start of school makes me think of new beginnings and
new opportunities to expand your interests and try new things.
One of my high
school students has started to play golf and is hoping to eventually
join the school golf team. Colleges are always looking for students who
have interests beyond the academic. But these interests just don’t
happen; they take some planning and thought.
